Geosynthetic Clay Liners (GCL)
PAR's Geosynthetic Clay Liners (GCLs), A factory-manufactured composite barrier featuring a uniform core of self-sealing, swelling sodium bentonite clay needle-punched between geotextiles. Upon hydration, the bentonite forms an extremely low-permeability hydraulic barrier, providing reliable environmental protection.
Primary Function: Containment.
Target Use Case: Environmental containment layers as watertight barrier to stop fluid leaks in large-scale environmental and civil engineering projects.
Features:
• Sodium bentonite core for low permeability
• Forms a hydraulic barrier upon hydration
• Reliable long-term environmental protection
